The Schussbaumer Ski Club is a private ski, recreation, and social club, with mostly single members from Colorado.

Schussbaumer members are active in winter activities (downhill skiing, cross country, snowshoeing), as well as summer activities (biking - road and mountain, hiking, camping, canoeing, rafting, inline skating, running, etc.).

The Schussbaumer Ski Club owns a Chalet on the road to Peak 8 (right on the bus stop!) in Breckenridge, Colorado that sleeps 72 people, with separate floors for men and women. All members must be 21 years and older and live in Colorado.

All members have a key to the Chalet so that they can use the Chalet whenever and as often as they wish.

Schussbaumer members enjoy the social atmosphere of the Chalet, with a mix of ski club parties as well as opportunies to relax with friends after skiing and summer activities.

Our members head for the mountains year-round at a moment's notice without making reservations or concern over high lodging rates. We have fast access to the "Ski the Summit" ski areas - Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin, as well as Vail and Beaver Creek. In addition, lots of hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities are available right outside our doorstep, and locally in the Summit County and Vail areas.
