• Eligibility for Communciations Coordinator position "requires present and continuous active membership in the Club during the three (3) months immediately preceding the date of elections".
• "Shall automatically become member of the Board of Directors".
• "The Communications Coordinator shall be responsible for standardizing, coordinating and managing all of the club's mass communications. The Communications Coordinator shall perform duties necessary to oversee and manage the web site, telephone hotline, publishing of the newsletter and other required Club communications.".

Knowledge Requirements:

• Rudimentary knowledge of word processing.
• Rudimentary knowledge of converting pictures to JPEG files.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Publisher
• Rudimentary knowledge in Adobe Acrobat

Equipment and Software Requirements:

• IBM compatible Pentium computer with 64 MB of RAM.
• Microsoft Word 97 or better
• Microsoft Publisher 97 or better (Club Provided)
• Adobe Acrobat 4.0 or better (Club Provided)
• Adobe Photo Deluxe or Equivalent (Club Provided)
• Email Address (access to high speed communications is beneficial)
• Color Scanner (Optional- can be done at Kinko's)

List of Task and Related Time Requirements (Average of 4 hours per week)

• 02 hrs/month Collecting of articles for Sitzmark (Email with occasional hard copy)
• 01 hrs/month Scanning of Pictures for Sitzmark (Kinko's)
• 03 hrs/month Assembly of Sitzmark (Microsoft Publisher)
• 02 hrs/month Labeling and Mailing of Sitzmark (Labels from Membership Services)
• 01 hrs/month Sending out Sitzmark to prospective members
• 01 hrs/month Checking telephone hotline & relaying information
• 02 hrs/month Reviewing web site and coordinating information from Sitzmark to webmaster for web site
• 05 hrs/month Board Meeting and related preparation.
• 03 hrs/month Social Meetings (5 mandatory; 13 optional)
• 04 hrs/year Annual Election Meeting
• 04 hrs/year Annual Business Meeting
